Andrew Cuomo could serve up to a year in jail on the misdemeanor forcible touching charge

Former New York Governor Andrew (AC) Cuomo may find himself serving out a 364 jail sentence in upstate New York if he’s found guilty on the misdemeanor forcible touching charge that he was hit with after Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple filed a criminal complaint against him.

The charge is a Class A misdemeanor which means the former gov could get sentence to probation or one day shy of a year in jail. If he gets probation, then he’ll have to stay on that for six years. He’ll also have to register as a sex offender.

The sheriff says that the former gov. bare handed a former aide’s breast. “Specifically, the victims left breast for the purpose of degrading and gratifying his sexual desires, all contrary to the provisions of the statue in such case made and provided,” is what the abc 7 folks in NYC quoted the sheriff’s complaint as saying.

AC and his team say all of this is a bunch of bull and that everybody knows that one-half of the Cuomo bros has never bare handed the breast of a woman without said permission of the woman whose breast who ask permission to bare hand. “Governor Cuomo has never assaulted anyone,” is what Andrew Cuomo’s attorney, Rita Glavin, said in a statement that was quoted by the abc 7 folks in NYC.

Glavin went on to say that she finds it quite interesting that it was the sheriff, not the DA, who filed the complaint which she, Glavin, believes is evidence of the sheriff’s attempt of using the former gov’s shituation to fertilize his political career.

The sheriff, of course, will most likely say that everything Glavin said is hogwash and that he is just doing his duty as a sworn officer of the law to put away a bad man. A bad man who, by the way, New York State Attorney General Leticia James decided to investigate after a slew of women told her about the “country club boys’” mentality that Andrew Cuomo had during his 12-year tenure as the governor of New York. Leticia James interviewed 11 women who accused the “COVID Gov” of being anything but a “distinguish gentleman.”

The attorney general’s investigation resulted in the New York State Assembly and Senate launching their own investigation which resulted in impeachment articles being written. Seeing the writing on the wall and on his younger brother Chris’ handkerchief, then gov. AC decided the heat was too much for him to bear. So, he packed his duds, his dog Captain (Cap), and left the gov mansion for the sea where he and Cap spend their days.

AC says he’s not worried about doing any jail time over what he describes as a political hit job that going to hit back at those who hit him: “In the last 72 hours, Sheriff Apple and Tish James have epitomized the worst combination of politics, incompetence and abuse of the law…These political bedfellows are abusing their office and putting their agenda over their ethical and constitutional duty, and no one is buying it.”

The court has bought it and is allowing the state attorneys to sell it to a jury of Andrew Cuomo’s peers. And if the jurors buy it, then Andrew Cuomo will definitely have to register as a sex offender.
